Central Australian Desert Loop. Uluru/Ayers Rock to Alice Springs. 8 Nights.

3 May - 10 May 2025 - Bookings now open

$3843 per vehicle incl. 2 people. 8 Vehicles Max. Off-road camper trailers ok.

If you're pushed for time but still want to experience the remoteness and scenic beauty of the desert, then this is the tour for you.

The tour starts with a complimentary 3 day pass to Uluru NP, so you are welcome to arrive early and have a good look around. Our first night together is at the caravan park where you have a cabin for the night and we go for a welcome dinner in town (walking distance). On the first day of travel, we head past the iconic Uluru and Kata Tjuta on our way West along the Great Central Road. Passing into WA, we visit the Giles Meteorological Station before making our way up the seldom travelled and very scenic Sandy Blight Road.

Our route takes us through amazing desert country and the occasional Aboriginal Community where we can refuel. We will loop back towards Alice Springs, stopping at some of the stunning gorges in the West MacDonald Ranges along the way. Our included final night and dinner is at Lasseters Crowne Plaza Hotel in Alice Springs.

No off-road driving experience is necessary for this tour - just bring a sense of adventure and a well set up vehicle. Full instruction will be provided throughout the journey. Off-road camper trailers are ok on this trek, but they must meet our requirements.
