Outback Timeline & FAQs

Your guide Tony is not only an experienced remote area tour guide, he's also a Cert IV qualified trainer and assessor in four wheel driving. And he's a friendly bloke too!

This tour is suitable for off-road camper trailers that are set up for remote travel. Trailers with independent suspension are recommended as we'll be on corrugated roads for several days. Please ask us if you are not sure about your trailer's capability. Full details of specs, setup and spares is given on booking.

Get the practical mechanical help you need if things don't go to plan. From tyre changes to changing shocks (and a lot more).

While this tour takes you through some of the most isolated areas in Australia, we have regular stops for fuel and food. 600km fuel range is plenty. 2 spare tyres on rims are recommended just in case. It's also a good idea to have a mechanic go over your vehicle and trailer before you head off.
